A phobia is a high anxiety irrational reflex response to literally
anything animal, mineral or vegetable. For people who do not have a
phobia the whole concept can appear ridiculous. A phobia often
triggers a panic attack and occasionally a person may not even be
aware of the trigger for their particular phobia. They just have
uncontrolled feeling of anxiety and all the symptoms that go with it
for no apparent reason whatsoever.
The good news is that phobias are simple to understand and
usually easily resolve. The frustrating part of most phobias other
than the feelings of shear horror and dread is the fact that a person
can be totally logical 99.9% of the time and yet unable to control
themselves if their phobia is triggered.
As all our memories are interlinked sensory experiences that are
triggered by other sensory experiences one building on another
untreated phobia tend to get worse as we get older. Most people find a
way to manage their phobia, avoiding the trigger at all costs.
So how do you get rid of a phobia?
Step 1
Identify the trigger (e.g. spider)
Step 2
Disassociate the person from their
experience
Step 3.
Create a conscious logical
understanding of why they have the phobia
Step 4.
Remove or adjust the trigger for the
phobia
Step 5
Adjust the perception of the first
experience that cause the phobia
Step 6.
Adjust the perceptions within every
subsequent experiences where the negative feelings associated with
the phobia where triggered
Step 7.
Create a positive emotion (opposite
of the negative feeling e.g. anxiety to self confidence) then
attach the positive feeling to the original trigger for the
phobia.
If you follow these steps 99.9% of
phobias will be resolved. if a person is easily hypnotised and has a
good imagination hypnotherapy can be quite effective in resolving this
issue. However it will not work if your ability to use your
imagination is weak.
In Em-Power Therapy the above steps
are converted into a set of instructions to the
Higher Self of the person. You do not need to be easily hypnotised
or have any kind of imagination for the process to work.
